David Beckham Liked Wearing Knickerbockers as a Child

The popular British football player David Beckham revealed during an interview for BBC Radio 2 that as a child he liked wearing ballet shoes, long socks and knickerbockers. “My dad gave me a little bit of a stick, but I was happy,” the LA Galaxy football star confessed.

This is not the first time David Beckham has publicly revealed his taste for extravagant clothes. The football player previously admitted he really liked wearing women’s clothes, after his wife, Victoria Beckham, had told a national TV audience that he often borrowed her panties. At the time, the singer said that Beckham lalso iked to wax his legs and wear thongs and even dresses.

The former England football captain also appeared in a Jean-Paul Gaultier sarong, which earned him the reputation of being a modern metrosexual man.

However, excepting his funny taste in clothes, David Beckham also answered questions from listeners during the interview for BBC Radio 2. He told about his son Brooklyn, who has “got a great strike on him, a great right foot, and he kept the ball up 64 times,” and about his pop star wife, who doesn’t seem to be such “great at goalkeeping,” although “she hasn’t really got a choice there” because "The boys all just tell her to go in goal and then just kick balls at her."

David Beckham also wanted to confess that the winning penalty against Argentina in the 2002 World Cup was a decisive moment in both his life and career. He called it a moment of redemption, which came after he was vilified by fans for his sending off against the same side four years earlier.

"For me, it was the best and biggest thing that I could've ever done in my career at that time," said Beckham.

David and Victoria Beckham are one of the most popular and apparently happiest celebrity couple of the moment.
