Vh1’s "Scott Baio is 45… and Single," star Scott Vaio, also known for his part in "Charles in Charge," married his longtime girlfriend Renee Sloan during a small ceremony on Saturday, People reported.
Set to air as part o the second series of Baio’s show, the small religious ceremony took place on the rooftop of a luxury high-rise in Los Angeles.
"My parents were married 53 years, good and bad. Can I do that? Probably not. But I really hope I can. I don’t know, 53 years with the same human being? I can’t be around myself for more than three or four hours before I want to kill everybody," he was quoted by People magazine as saying.
The two lovebirds exchanged vows in front of a group of family and friends, including Sloan's 18-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, and according to sources, the newest member of the Baio family: the couple's newborn daughter, whose name has not yet been released.
Sloan revealed she was pregnant during the final episode of the first season of "Scott Baio is 45… and Single."
Baio, 46, and Sloan, 34, a model and actress, started their relationship as friends in the 1990s after they met at one of Hugh Hefner’s parties and eventually started dating just several years back.
During the first season of the show, the actor is struggling with his well-known bachelor’s commitment issues, as he is advised to take a break from his girlfriend and date other women. In the season finale Sloan breaks the news that she’s expecting a baby, immediately after Baio pops the question. The second season of the show will reportedly be titled "Scott Baio is 46… and Pregnant."
