MySpace Transmissions Provides Exclusive Music
This Tuesday, the social networking company MySpace has launched ‘MySpace Transmissions’, through which will provide exclusive video content from recording artists.
It might be wiewed as an Internet version of the popular series of ‘MTV Unplugged’ as the MySpace users will be able to buy audio tracks, but also private recording sessions with artists and video talkings segments. As in the case of ‘MTV Unplugged’, the artists’ work is avalable as albums months or years later, ‘MySpace Transmissions’ makes the content available immediately. As MySpace has been since start a promotional platform for artists and labels, with this new feature, it permits artists to choose the way they want to distribute their music, settling their own prices.

The first artist presentented with the release of the ‘MySpace Transmissions’ is James Blunt who recorded five songs exclusively for MySpace, including the track ‘Same Mistake’.

The Los Angeles based company will present other artists in the coming weeks that have participated with ‘MySpace Transmissions’, but at the present realease of the program, their name wasn’t revealed. All the ‘MySpace Transmissions’ contents will be archived and also available through MySpaceTV.
