Reese Witherspoon Is Hollywood’s Best Paid Actress
Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon is topping Hollywood Reporter’s annual list of the highest-paid actresses.

While her latest movie "Rendition,"  starring Jake Gyllenhaal, whom she’s been constantly romantically linked to since her divorce, failed at the box office, Witherspoon is still asking $15 to $20 million a movie, which places her above Angelina Jolie, who came in second with almost similar salary demands, and Cameron Diaz with a $15 million-per-movie price tag.

Witherspoon’s upcoming movie, horror flick "Our Family Trouble," produced by her own Type A Films, is rumored to get her a hefty $29 million, although sources strongly denied the speculation.

Last year’s chart topper, Nicole Kidman, who makes $10 to $15 million a flick slid to no. 4 while Renee Zellwegger rounds up the top five.

While Hollywood's list of the 10 highest-earning actresses only includes names that have dominated the screen for several years, a few promising stars are climbing up the pay scale, including Katherine Heigl, Rachel McAdams and Jennifer Garner.

Sandra Bullock and Julia Roberts, who hasn't appeared on the big screen since 2004, also get $10 to $15 million paychecks. Roberts’ next film, "Charlie Wilson's War," is due in theaters this December.

Wrapping up the top 10 are Drew Barrymore and Jodie Foster, who ask $10 to $12 million per project, and Halle Berry, who gets $10 million a picture.
