Timbaland Becomes Father of Baby Girl
Producer Timbaland has become engaged to his girlfriend of two years and the couple has just welcomed a baby girl, People magazine reports.

Producer Timbaland, real name Timothy Z. Mosley, has become the father of a baby girl. The baby was born a couple of days ago, reports People magazine on its website, citing a source close to the rapper.

Timbaland is also engaged to the mother, his girlfriend and publicist Monique Idlett. According to People.com, the two have been dating for two years and “they're both really happy together,” the source said. “They've known each other for years.”

The 36-year-old music producer reportedly proposed at the couple's baby shower in October. This will be the first marriage both for him and Idlett, 33. The wedding ceremony will take place next year.

Timbaland has been enjoying massive success over the last couple of years, after producing albums such as Nelly Furtado’s “Loose” and friend Justin Timberlake’s “FutureSex/LoveSounds.”

Songs such as Nelly Furtado’s “Promiscuous,” “Maneater,” “All Good Things (Come to an End)” and “Say It Right,” The Pussycat Dolls’ “Wait A Minute” and Justin Timberlake’s “SexyBack,” “My Love” and “What Goes Around.../...Comes Around Interlude” all benefited from Timbaland’s creative input.

“Timbaland Presents Shock Value” was released in the U. S. in April, via his Mosley Music Group record label, and spawned successful hits such as “"Give It to Me” (featuring Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake) and “The Way I Are” (featuring Keri Hilson & D.O.E.).

Last month, Timbaland won Producer Of The Year at BET's Hip Hop Awards 2007, during the ceremony on Oct. 13.
