Six Italian Citizens Shot Dead in Germany
Six Italian nationals were shot dead Wednesday morning in Duisburg, western Germany, the police informed.

Five men were found dead in two vehicles near a restaurant, while another man died in an ambulance that was taking him to the hospital. According to a police official, the six men were Italian citizens aged between 16 and 39, all being shot in the head.

The deaths are surrounded by mist, despite rumors emerging among locals who say the incident is tied to organized crime. Investigators began an inquiry and didn’t reveal the identities of the six men, as their families are being questioned.

Police said the incident occurred at around 2:00 am, a woman reporting the incident that took place in the parking lot of an Italian restaurant, about 100 metres from a central train station.

As part of the investigation, policemen are studying images captured by a security camera placed in the area and investigating reports from witnesses who said two men were seen near the restaurant at the time the gunshots were heard.

Earlier this year, a similar incident occurred in Sittensen, seven people being killed in a Chinese restaurant. A renewed restaurant owner, his wife and five employees were shot dead after being tied up.
