Chris Noth To Star In “Sex And The City” Movie
The fans of the catchy series “Sex and the City” have another reason to be happy. Actor Chris Noth, who played Mr. Big’s character in the HBO’s series, will join also the upcoming movie for the big screen. This way the all five original stars of the series will be acting in the big screen movie.

After a long period of about three years, it was only a month ago that New Line Cinema, HBO’s corporate sibling under Time Warner Inc., has announce it will sign a final agreement for financing and distributing the movie, which was first planned by HBO just months before the famous TV series ended its six-year run. But the project was stalled because of a long-running silent battle between the leading actress Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattral.

Kim Cattrall was reportedly seeking a bigger salary, similar to Sarah Jessica Parker’s, and also a bigger script control. Actress Kim Cattrall had these demands although Sarah Jessica Parker was also the co-executive producer of the series. So HBO really had to think about a bigger salary for Kim Cattrall, so that the four original actresses could star together in the big screen movie. Now that Christ Noth has been announced to join them too, the fans should be already eagerly waiting for the release of the film, which will take place sometime in 2008.

Chris Noth has become very famous for playing Mr. Big in “Sex and the City”. Big is Carrie Bradshaw’s on/off partner and he is remarkably handsome and charming. Chris Noth has played Big during the entire six-season series. With him on board the new movie should be once again a hit.
