The apple never falls far from the three! The saying seems to be just fit in the case of actress Lindsay Lohan. The young woman’s recent adventures have been drawing everybody’s attention, as the police, the judges, the fans and just everybody have all found out that Lohan could be just the innocent product of another dysfunctional family.

Well, it is very true that sometimes the apple is able by its own power to fall far, far away from the tree, but in Lindsay Lohan’s case this seems to be only pure theory.

So, after their daughter’s latest incidents (involving as usually cars, drugs and alcohol), Dina and Michael Lohan have been ordered by a Long Island judge to undergo themselves individual psychological counseling. Lindsay Lohan’s parents are a troubled coupled themselves and they are now in the middle of a divorce trial.

And, unfortunately, that is not all, as Michael Lohan had suggested that his children’s mother’s own drinking and drug abuse may have contributed to Lindsay’s problems. Would Michael Lohan say such terrible things just to hurt his former wife? Or is he trying to seem devoted to his older daughter, although it is quite clear he has not been able to offer her a normal family life? However, although he had previously suggested this, Michael Lohan has recently withdrawn the request of having his wife tested for drugs.

One says this new move marks the man’s desire to improve his chances of being granted by the judge visitation rights with his children, Aliana, 13 years old, and Dakota, 10 years old. Currently, he is only permitted to speak to his little boy and girl on the phone. Lindsay and Michael Lohan Jr. are no longer minors, so they are not involved in their parents’ divorce trial.

So, Lindsay Lohan’s family could inspire a soap opera themselves, but this doesn’t absolve the actress from her own messy life.
