Madonna’s Unexpected Visual Requirements at Live Earth
The Queen of Pop is never one to shy away from expressing her needs and desires but reporters were taken aback by

Madonna’s demand that they maintain eye contact at all times during interviews at the Live Earth event in London.

It has been reported that Madonna demanded “eye contact must be maintained at all times” by reporters who wished to interview her on July 7, the much-heralded date of the Live Earth event.

Madonna took the stage at London’s Wembley Stadium, where she closed the show with one of the unique performances she has got us used to.

The London Mirror reported that interviewers were asked to “never look down to check notes — all questions must be memorized or the interview will be terminated.”

Madonna would also only accept questions regarding the Live Earth event. Under no circumstances was she to be questioned about her relationship with husband Guy Ritchie, their adoption of the Malawi toddler or anything else regarding her personal life.

Madonna's rep commented: “She did not want to do any interviews, which I told the Live Earth folks from the start.” She also told The Scoop that she was not aware of any backstage demands.

Madonna rocked the crowd in London with “Hey You,” the song she wrote especially for the event, “Ray Of Light,” “La Isla Bonita,” (with Gogol Bordello) and “Hung Up.”
