Live Earth: Musical Warning Against Global Warming
Global warming is a real problem that should concern everybody: public and private persons, artists and simple workers. Man has “conquered” a lot of things in the recent decades, has reached the Moon and has seen the Earth from space, but failed to protect Earth, the only planet that represents a natural living environment for humans and not only.

However, there’s never too late for people to realize how they, sometimes unconsciously, harm their world. “An Inconvenient Truth” and the Live Earth concerts are examples of important activities that should make people aware that Earth suffers and that it needs to be protected.

Metallica, The Police, Madonna and other popular bands and singers will concert during the Live Earth tour that is to kick off in Australia o Saturday. In the United Kingdom and in the United States, Australia, Germany, Japan, China and even South Africa and Brazil the bands and singers will try to spread the warning: global warming is a real issue and people should be aware of that. If we love snow, rain and a normal whether, we should listen to Madonna and Al Gore’s messages.

Related to Live Earth tour, there are also critics saying that it sends a mixed message about energy conservation, as many rock bands are invited to perform. These critics say that rock hasn’t been a good choice for concert for protecting the Earth, although the organizers reply that the concerts will be as “green” as possible.

In London Madonna, Black Eyed Peas, Corinne Bailey Rae and others will concert on the Wembley Stadium. The concert is estimated to be watched by a 2 billion people audience.
