Rehabbing starlet, Lindsay Lohan, will reportedly do an "extended care program" that was her choice, at Promises rehab clinic in Malibu, her mother, Dina Lohan told People magazine recently.
The program, according to Promises' Web site, is designed to help people "make the transition from residential alcohol or drug rehab treatment back into their community."
Giving the magazine an update on her daughter’s progress, Dina Lohan said Lindsay is "doing great," from the moment she checked in (for the second time) and she knows this because they talk on the phone daily.
"I talk to her every day. She's going to do Promises' extended care program,” People magazine quoted her, as saying.
Regarding Lindsay’s 21st birthday on July 2nd, Dina said the entire family is set to get together for the special day. Although she didn’t say anything about Lindsay, according to her security guard, she won’t be at the “Promises premises.”
"Lindsay is looking to rebound even better," said Ty Dux, Dina Lohan's security guard/publicist.
"She wants to prove to everybody that she means it."
This is Lindsay’s second stint in rehab where circumstances kind of forced her to check in, after she crashed her car and got arrested for DUI.
