The former couple and actual "Shrek the Third" co-stars, actress Cameron Diaz and singer Justin Timberlake walked the green carpet together at the London premiere of the animated blockbuster.

The ex-lovers dated for four years before announcing their split earlier this year. Since, both of them have been linked to various people, most recently, Timberlake was photographed getting cozy with actress Jessica Biel.

Just before stepping on the green carpet, the two embraced before a large crowd in London’s Leicester Square, and posed for photographers.

"We're friends. It's good to see him," Diaz, who voices Princess Fiona in the DreamWorks animated blockbuster, said.

"We love each other. We spent four years together so there is no reason for us not to be friends. I always think it is funny when people think, 'Oh you guys must really hate each other now'. And I say, 'No, our paths just went in different directions,'" she added.

Diaz and Timberlake were last time seen together at the US premiere of "Shrek the Third," and shared a hug and a kiss as they posed for the cast photos, but kept their distance throughout the whole event.
