Emma Watson May Quit 'Harry Potter'
'Harry Potter' star Emma Watson, the teen actress who played Hermione Granger, has had enough of the wizardry series. She reportedly turned down a double of her initial salary to continue her role in the last two movies.

The rumors were sparked by Rupert Grint, who plays Ron Weasley in the movies. He told NOTW that "Emma doesn't want to do it any more."

"She's tired of being known as 'that girl from Harry Potter'. Daniel and I are distant from her now. We don't text or talk to her when we are not filming," he explained.

While confirming Watson did not sign yet, Warner Bros said, "We're extremely confident that Emma will be back for films six and seven," a spokesperson for the Hollywood studio told CBBC's Newsround.

Filming for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is scheduled to begin this year, with a release date sometime next year. A release date in 2010 has been estimated for the seventh and final movie, The Deathly Hallows.

There have been four films based on JK Rowling's books so far, with the fifth, 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix,' due for release in July this year.
