We could hope for them to get back together, but Whitney and Bobby are saying that their recent dinner was not romantic.

The two singers were seen having dinner together the Sunday night of the Grammys at Dan Tana’s steakhouse in West Hollywood. With them was their daughter, Bobbi Christina.

However, this lovely picture of family bliss does not imply reconciliation between Whitney Houston and Bobby. According to Whitney Houston’s rep, Nancy Seltzer, “It was a one-night dinner between divorcing parents for the sake of their daughter… They are not reuniting.”

Whitney filed for divorce from singer Bobby Brown in California last year in October. She made her separation from Bobby Brown official when she filed papers in Orange County Superior Court.

In the separation papers, 43-year-old Whitney Houston requested that she be given custody of the couple's 13-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina, and that Brown, 37, be granted visitation rights.

The couple had a 14-year marriage, which had its share of troubles and pains, as well as joys. The two were wed in 1992 when Whitney was at the height of her career. At the time, Bobby Brown was successful as a solo performer and had a reputation as “the bad boy” of R’n’B.

The two weathered Brown’s arrest for drugs charges and even Whitney’s rehab programs, for reported addictions to cocaine, marijuana, and assorted pills.
